COSMOPOLITAN RESTAURANT

Thank you for your interest in the Cosmopolitan Restaurant as a site for your banquet. We offer you the option of buying out the restaurant for parties of 40 to 75 people. The minimum cost of having the restaurant being exclusively yours is entirely dependent on the day of week and season, but usually ranges from $4000 to $6000 (inclusive of food, drink, tax, tip and room charge). You have a few options for a Cosmopolitan "buyout".

You may pre-select off the Cosmopolitan menu two or three appetizers, entrees, desserts and wine (we recommend at least 2 whites and 2 reds). This limited menu costs between $40 and $50 per person (not including wine, tax and tip), depending on your menu selections.

You may also wish to serve a Tasting Menu, a six-course meal paired with five wines. The chef creates a menu around seasonal game, fish and fresh fruits and vegetables to which wines are expertly paired by our sommelier. The tasting menu is priced at $125 per person (not including tax or tip) depending on the types of food and wine you choose. With advance notice we will accommodate your dietary requests if possible.

A "Family Style" dinner is a lot of fun for a large party in our restaurant. Large platters and bowls of food are served to each table, allowing your guests to pass them around and serve themselves. The type of food you choose can be ethnic in theme (an Italian menu, for example) or you can choose items off the Cosmopolitan's menu to be served in larger portions. Wines can also be selected in advance; we recommend two whites and two reds. This menu is typically $50 per person (not including wine, tax or tip) but is entirely dependent on what food you wish to have served.

You may also have a cocktail party with a selection of passed appetizers. You may request specific appetizers yourself or the chef can create an appetizer menu for you. Cocktails, beer and wine can be pre-selected or the guests can order whatever they wish; you would be charged by consumption. The option of a cocktail party in our main dining room is possible if it is before or after our regular dinner hours.
